According to him, natural phenomena exotic total solar eclipse (GMT) will be passing through the area, namely Palembang (with a maximum of 1 minute 52 seconds), Billiton (2 minutes 10 seconds), Balikpapan (1 min 9 sec), Luwuk (2 minutes 50 seconds), Sampit (2 minutes 8 seconds), Palu (2 minutes 4 seconds), Ternate (2 minutes 39 seconds), Bangka (2 minutes 8 seconds), Palngkaraya (2 minutes 29 seconds), Poso (2 minutes 40 seconds), and Halmahera (1 min 36 sec).
Partial solar eclipse can also be enjoyed in Padang (95.43 percent), Bandung (88.76 percent), Denpasar (76.53 percent), Kupang (65.49 percent), Surabaya (83.08 percent), Banjarmasin (98 percent), Manado (96.66 per cent), Jakarta (88.76 percent), Pontianak (92.96 percent), Makassar (88.54 percent) and Ambon (86.90 percent).
"Finally, a natural phenomenon that has ever happened and passed through Indonesia occurred 30 years ago, on June 11, 1983 and will happen again in 250 years to come," he said.
